Tigercat Industries Inc.

100 Savage Drive, Cambridge, Ontario

Join us for a tour of  Tigercat Industries Inc. that designs and builds premium quality, purpose-built forestry equipment for felling, transporting, processing and loading tree-length and cut-to-length timber.  In addition, the company engineers and builds specialized machinery for off-road industrial applications.  Tigercat began in 1992 when a small group of professionals with extensive experience in the forestry industry teamed up with leading edge steel fabricator MacDonald Steel. Widespread research revealed that the performance of drive-to-tree feller bunchers was failing the expectations of loggers in the southeastern U.S .  New product development and the enhancement of existing products continues at a rapid pace.  Participants will have the opportunity to tour the fabrication and assembly facility for Tigercat’s 600 series of skidders, 700 series of feller bunchers, mulchers and forwarders.
