Join us on May 24 for an exciting event at the Windsor Airport that will include the following:
TOUR of WW2 AIRCRAFT HANGER. – Canadian Historical Aircraft Association
The association (CH2A) was officially incorporated as a non-profit organization in March 1995 to honour Canadian veterans by preserving, maintaining, restoring, displaying and demonstrating antique or vintage military and civilian aircraft and artifacts considered to be important to Canadian aviation history. Aircraft association volunteers will provide attendees with a tour of its museum and war era hanger, which recently underwent a large scale renovation. A collection of aircraft will be on display including a deHavilland Mosquito Bomber that is currently under construction. The “Yellow Birds,” the association’s flying collection of military training aircraft, will also be available for photo opportunities on the ground. You will also be able to see the progress being made on the restoration of Windsor’s Lancaster Memorial Bomber FM212
DINNER:
Cash Bar and Dinner will be held in the Hanger amongst the aircraft & artifacts. Catering provided by Koolini’s.
RAFFLE: You could WIN a RIDE in a 1941 BOEING STEARMAN Bi-Plane!! Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the CH2A.
