<p>Join us for a tour of  ATS’s Photowatt Ontario facility that offers turnkey solar project development, installation and solar products.  The company recently began production of Photovoltaic (PV) modules on a new 100MW line at the ATS campus.  The “Made in Ontario” production will meet rapidly growing Ontario demand from residential, commercial and industrial markets as well as large-scale solar fields.  The world-class line was designed and built by ATS’s automation division.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Join the Toronto Chapter on Nov. 23/11 for a tour of Samco Machinery Ltd., a global leader in the manufacture of precision roll forming equipment since 1972 including uncoilers, decoilers, roll form dies and presses.  Samco provides a full range of roll forming solutions for the steel building construction, automotive, HVAC, and furniture industries around the globe. Samco has also combined its metal roll forming expertise and know-how to become a leading fabricator in PV solar panel mounts used in a variety of solar power applications. The tool room is a self sufficient department dedicated to the die making aspects of the Samco machinery. They have wire EDMs, milling machines, cylindrical grinders and a newly acquired CNC machining center. The tour through Samco’s 80,000 sq. ft. expansive facility will include a look at their in-house manufacturing as well as their tooling, machining and metal fabricating capabilities.</p>
<p>Networking, cocktails and dinner will follow the tour along with a presentation entitled &#8220;SQUEEZING THE MOST FROM YOUR RESOURCES&#8221; by Nabeel Khan, Director of Tacteco Solutions Inc.  Energy is a resource and it needs to be managed just like any other.  It can be overwhelming exploring methods to reduce your energy consumption and lower your costs in a marketplace that is inundated with possibilities.  During this presentation, Nabeel will discuss possible solutions and pitfalls of implementation &#8211; all in an effort to do more with less.</p>

<p>Members may submit their data online or by fax/mail.  Be assured that all submitted information will be treated with absolute confidence.  Only PARTICIPATING members will receive the results which are expected to be available mid-December.</p>

<p>Join us Oct. 6 for a tour at Legendary Motorcar Company in Halton Hills (Milton), Ontario that has grown to become the nation&#8217;s #1 total collector and specialty car facility, home to the Canadian Motor Sports Hall of Fame and NASCAR Canada head office.</p>
<p>Legendary Motorcar Company first opened its doors in 1985 with a dream of restoring and trading in the finest and rarest of classic and performance cars. Legendary Motorcar soon began producing national show winning restorations and record sales. By 1990 they expanded to 12,000 sq ft, and began selling European marquees, including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes, Porsche and continued to sell some of the rarest domestic models.  In 2002 the company moved into its brand new 55,000 sq. ft. facility in Halton Hills that includes: 100 car showroom, fully equipped mechanical and assembly bays, downdraft spray booth and body shop, plus a conference center and set for the Dream Car Garage television show seen on SunTV and The Mens Channel.  All of this adds up to a complete, state-of-the-art facility for every aspect of the car collector’s needs from ground-up restorations, to service, race car builds and support, appraisals, storage and an ever-changing inventory of some of the world&#8217;s finest collector and investment cars for sale.</p>
