CTMA’s High School Awards

The High School Awards, which began in 2022, recognize students who have demonstrated a high proficiency in metalworking skills, a positive attitude, and who have plans to pursue a career in one of the precision metalworking trades.

 

The CTMA, in partnership with the Ontario Council for Technology Education (OCTE), have selected 27 high school manufacturing technology programs from across Ontario to submit nominations for the 2023 CTMA High School Awards, which will be handed out at graduation ceremonies this year.
This award will rotate through eligible high school manufacturing programs, each year.

What will students receive?

  • $1,000 prize
  • Certificate of Achievement (presented to school during graduation ceremony) to acknowledge their contribution to the future of the precision metalworking industry

Who is Eligible?

The ideal candidate will be a graduating student who has demonstrated a high proficiency in metalworking skills, a positive attitude, and has plans to pursue a career in one of the precision metalworking trades.
