Trump’s “Liberation day” Tariffs April 2, 2025

In response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s announcement of the “Liberation Day” tariffs on April 2, 2025, Canadian political leaders and industry representatives have expressed strong opposition and outlined countermeasures to protect the nation’s economic interests.
