Burloak Tool & Die, a leading provider of advanced tooling and stamping solutions, has announced the successful acquisition of CADTEK, a successful, well-established metal stamper of more than 20 years.  This strategic acquisition expands the service offering to customers of both companies.

“Burloak Tool’s acquisition of CADTEK represents a pivotal moment in our company’s growth trajectory,” said Sean Brown, president & CEO of Burloak Tool. “We’ve been in dialogue with Mike McCannell, founder and retiring owner, for over a year and we are honoured to have been selected by Mike to carry on the CADTEK legacy of high service levels to customers. It aligns perfectly with our values and commitment to delivering comprehensive solutions to the industry.”

Customers of both companies stand to benefit tremendously. Burloak customers will enjoy the company’s enhanced capacity and product offering.

CADTEK offers post-stamping value-added services and is also a registered Controlled Goods supplier.  CADTEK customers benefit as the company now has tremendous operational flexibility, enhanced internal toolmaking abilities, access to comprehensive die repair services, access to stamping up to 800 tons, access to Servo stamping, and more.

Operations will be optimized across the Burlington plants, the St. George plant, and a third site yet to be named. In cases where one plant or the other has operational capacity on newer equipment, some redundant equipment will be replaced and/or upgraded.

Burloak Tool is excited about the future possibilities resulting from this acquisition and looks forward to a seamless integration process. The company remains committed to maintaining high-quality standards, exceeding customer expectations, and driving continued success in the metal stamping industry.
