The Canadian Tooling & Machining Association (CTMA) was proud to participate in MMTS 2026, held May 11–12 at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, joining thousands of manufacturing professionals, technology leaders, and innovators from across Canada for Quebec’s largest manufacturing technology event.
Over the course of the two-day show, attendees experienced cutting-edge manufacturing technologies, live equipment demonstrations, educational sessions, networking opportunities, and discussions focused on the future of advanced manufacturing. This year’s event placed a strong emphasis on smart manufacturing, AI adoption, automation, aerospace and defence, additive manufacturing, productivity, and digital transformation across the manufacturing sector.
Day 1 focused on strategy, productivity, competitiveness, and emerging technologies shaping the future of manufacturing, while Day 2 shifted toward implementation, AI adoption, and solving real-world operational challenges for manufacturers. According to MMTS organizers, the event also highlighted innovations in additive manufacturing and practical solutions aimed at reducing lead times, increasing flexibility, and improving in-house production capabilities.
The CTMA Pavilion at Booth #2025 welcomed strong engagement throughout the show and provided members with a cost-effective opportunity to showcase their products, technologies, and services while connecting directly with manufacturers, OEMs, suppliers, and decision-makers from across the industry.
