The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) in Canada is organizing a COMPLIMENTARY trip to Italy to visit BI-MU, which will take place in Milano, Italy, from October 13 to 16, 2026. The purpose of this initiative is to provide Canadian end users of metal processing technology, robotics, automation, 3D printing, the opportunity to meet with leading Italian suppliers. This program is organized in partnership with UCIMU – the show organizers.
BI-MU, the most important Italian exhibition dedicated to the manufacturing industry of metal cutting and metal forming machine tools, robots, automation, digital and additive manufacturing, auxiliary and enabling technologies. The event showcases machinery and equipment as well as materials, supplies and a vast array of products for the metalworking sector. The 35th edition of the international biannual trade show features over 750 exhibitors, 65,000 square meters of floor space and 35,000 visitors.
Expenses Paid:
For qualifying companies, the following travel expenses, including airfare, hotel, meals and ground transportation in Italy will be paid for by ITA and the show organizers:
- Round-trip airfare (coach-class) to/from CANADA- Milano Malpensa/Linate, Italy
- Hotel in Milano – 3 nights: check-in: October 12, 2026 and check-out: October 15, 2026
- Breakfast at the hotel and buffet lunch at the show
- Ground transportation in Italy (to/from hotel and trade show, and to/from various site
- Airport transfers for delegates arriving/returning on October 12/15 2026 in Milano
- Entrance show VIP badge with exclusive access to international buyers’ lounge equipped with WIFI, computers, printers, photocopies, coat check, coffee bar, and general assistance.
Trip Itinerary and program:
- October 11, 2026: Departure from Canada
- October 12, 2026: Arrival in Italy and transfer to hotel for check- in
- October 13-14, 2026: BI-MU, trade show visit and B2B meetings
- October 15, 2026: Transfer to the airport and departure for CANADA (no transfer provided for delegates leaving from the Verona airport)
