The CTMA recently wrapped up its latest Breakfast Seminar series, hosting well-attended events in Kitchener, Windsor, and Mississauga. The series brought together members from across Ontario for a week of insightful discussions, valuable networking, and shared perspectives on the future of manufacturing.

Each stop on the tour saw strong engagement from attendees, reinforcing the importance of in-person connection within the tooling and machining community. From early-morning conversations over coffee to interactive discussions during the sessions, the events provided a platform for members to exchange ideas, explore challenges, and identify opportunities within the industry.

A key highlight of the series was the lineup of timely and relevant topics, including:

  • Practical AI applications in manufacturing
  • Psychological health and safety on the manufacturing floor
  • Trade policy changes and the Canadian dollar
  • The North American economic outlook and ongoing trade disruption
  • Strengthening Automotive SMEs

These sessions sparked thoughtful dialogue and offered practical takeaways that attendees can apply within their own organizations.

Equally impactful was the opportunity for networking. Members had the chance to reconnect with peers, meet new industry contacts, and strengthen relationships that are critical to ongoing collaboration and growth. The value of these connections was evident at each location, with conversations continuing well beyond the formal presentations.

The CTMA extends its sincere thanks to all attendees for their participation and engagement throughout the series. A special thank you also goes to our sponsors—BDC, EDC, Corpay and MNP—whose informative presentations and continued support played a key role in the success of each event.

As the association continues to deliver programming that supports the evolving needs of the industry, events like these remain an important way to bring members together, share knowledge, and build a stronger manufacturing community.

We look forward to welcoming members at upcoming CTMA events in the months ahead. You can upcoming events here.
