July 23 to 25: B2B meetings for SEUS-CP Conference, St. John’s, Newfoundland
The Southeast U.S.-Canadian Provinces (SEUS-CP) Alliance 2023 conference in St. John’s will include a B2B program to connect company delegates with businesses that are seeking new suppliers of goods, services, and innovative technologies across the green and blue economies. Key areas include Transitioning to Clean Energy, Port Development for the 21st Century, Sustainable Transportation, Monitoring and Observation for Asset Protection. SEUS-CP was established in 2007 to enhance trade and investment, promote business partnerships and encourage technological exchanges between the member states and Canadian provinces. Members of the Alliance include: Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee; and for Canada: New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, and Quebec. Sept. 12 to 15: Defence Export Business Mission to DSEI 2023, London, United Kingdom
Join the Government of Ontario’s export business mission to DSEI, a premier biennial defence and security event that connects governments, national armed forces, industry thought leaders and the entire defence and security supply chain on a global scale. DSEI is the only event that integrates all national security and defence pillars, including Air, Space, Land, Naval, Security, Cyber and Joint. Oct. 23 to 25: Ontario fintech mission to money2020 USA (last chance)
Money20/20 (www.money2020.com/) in Las Vegas is one of the largest global events for the financial technology industry featuring established global companies as well as innovative start ups. The event attracts more than 11,000 attendees from over 3,000 companies. Ontario is organizing an export business mission for Ontario companies in the fintech sector to participate at Money2020 2023. This event will offer Ontario companies an opportunity to promote their products and services, establish partnerships and target business opportunities in the United States. October 16 to 19: Ontario Edtech Export Business Mission to DIDAC India – Bengaluru, India
The Ontario government is organizing an edtech export business mission to DIDAC India, which explores educational resources, training and technology-based solutions at all levels of the education and training sectors. The mission targets Ontario-based companies and educational institutions offering innovative products and services, and which are seeking buyers and partners in the education and education technology segments. (The mission aim is not international student recruitment.) India has a thriving education sector. Its e-learning industry is the second-largest market after the United States with a value of up to CAN$4 billion and is forecasted to reach CAN$40 billion over the next 10 years. Dominant categories in the Indian edtech market include test preparation, re-skilling and online certification, school management software solutions and communications tools, online curriculum, and primary and secondary supplemental education. DIDAC India predominantly focuses on educational products, software and solutions and has been held for 12 years. The last iteration attracted more than 19,000 attendees from 34 countries, and more than 210 exhibitors. Mission fees are TBD. Participants must cover their own travel and accommodation costs. September 20: Taking Flight: The Rise of Indian Aerospace & Aviation – Webinar
The Government of Ontario is hosting a webinar to discuss the future of India’s aviation and aerospace industries and the opportunities for Ontario-based companies to sell products and services to aerospace OEMs, aviation companies, Tier 1 suppliers, and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) players in the country. India is one of the fastest growing aviation and aerospace sectors in the world. It is poised to overtake the United Kingdom to become the third-largest air passenger market and grow to CAN$40 billion by 2024. India is anticipated to have a stock of 1,100 aircraft by 2027, buoyed by rising demand from domestic travelers, international passengers, and medical tourists. The MRO industry is also promising, predicted to reach more than CAN$3.1 billion by 2028.
